It was recorded as a two night farewell to the Electric Circus Club in Manchester on October 1st & 2nd, 1977. JCC's performance was on the 2nd, which was a Sunday.
The story is that the club was attracting more people than it could handle and it thus had to close down (or something). The original EP was released in June 1978. Not sure about the CD reissue.
