Welcome to John Cooper Clarke's
Home Page & Web Site
"The Bard of Salford is alive and well... and in cyberspace too"
SEARCH for your favorite word - poem - album - or whatever... Try leatherette
Not much to report except some new gig listings and some smallish updates in various places...
But first a warning from Paul to all the procrastinators out there...
I'd had the 'Ou Est La Maison De Fromage' CD on my wants
list for ages and last week I finally decided to order the thing. As
usual I'd left it too late, and I was informed that Receiver
Records went bust a month or so back and all stock has been recalled. In a mad panic I searched the internet and managed to get a copy
from CDNow. I just thought I'd pass this info on to you so you
can add it to your site and maybe help a few others who where also
thinking about getting a copy.
Thanks Paul... people can also try CD Connection as well if they want, we don't want to appear overly partial. Ok, back to the site...
A bunch of new Guest Book entries have been added... now in it's third segement due to page size limitations.
A link to Glenn's new web page (which features the lyrics of JCC set to some new music) is on the Links Page. Check it out... You'll love it.
Current Activities have been updated to reflect the next known gigs... More should be coming soon... (hopefully)
Updated Publications info has been added.
Misc/Trivia Section now has news of JCC the Actor and DJ.
The Discography section has an update of artwork credits and a scan of the Martin Hannet tribute album.
Apart from the above updates, we did hear from .net magazine indicating they want to do an in-depth feature on the JCC site in one of the upcoming issues, so stay tuned for more details as they unfold.

If you want to be added to the e-mail list and advised of news and updates when I send them out, please e-mail here to let us know you want to be included.
That's about it, so check it out. (And please let me know about any typos you see... Thanks.
Viewing Instructions:
A) This site is best viewed with Netscape 3.0/4.0 - though you can get by with anything if you have to.
B) This site is best not viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Why? Because we hate it.
C) The pages are set up for a 14 inch monitor, so if you see any of the background patterns repeating themselves on the right hand side of your monitor, just drag your browser window in a little till they don't.
D) Because some of the pages can be accessed from different places, I decided not to put links on them. If you find yourself on a page with no links - like the lyric pages for example - simply use the 'back' button on your browser to go back one step. Or better yet, just bookmark this page so you never lose it.
E) If you're an internet novice, have fun.
F) That's enough viewing instructions. (WebMaster)
