4: One by one our LA clients started dropping off because of the distance between us, and the desert didn't even have an internet connection yet... (the classic story of our lives really, in that we're always too early for everything. It's a curse).

So with the additional time on our hands we began a process of setting up local community web site resources... examples were the initial site for 29 Palms, 'Virtual 29', the 'Joshua Tree Community Web Site' for JT, and others. The town of Yucca Valley selected our design work as the best submitted design in their initial open web search process.

Finally though we did get some Internet connectivity and began working with a local ISP...
