1: We have been working in the graphic design, desktop publishing, and printing industry from the time before computers... back when everything had to be done by hand... If you needed type for a job, you had to 'send out' to a Linotronic shop for it at huge cost. During this earlier period we also designed and published a number of successful greeting cards around the world, and dabbled in advertising.

But then came the Mac Plus and we started doing a lot more computer design work for companies in Los Angeles, including print and design shops who needed a fast turn around of customer work.

So began - officially anyway - the desktop design work of Unknown Origin... a name chosen because we like our work to be taken on its own professional merit, and because we don't need to see our personal names on anything in print.
